So much to offer and only five minutes from Midland.

Do you like outdoor activities? Sanford has some great recreational opportunities. Sanford Lake offers activities from boating and fishing to relaxing on a sandy beach while letting the children splash around in the lake or in the new spray-park.  If hiking, or biking is more your thing, you can jump on the Pere Marquette Rail Trail right in town. If you like a more challenging trail, the Pine Haven Recreation Area has miles of wooded mountain bike trails built on 325 acres. Pine Haven offers the most diverse terrain in Midland County for biking, hiking, horseback riding and cross country skiing.

If you are coming to spend the day at the lake, don't forget to stop in at one or our great family style restaurants. Sanford has several to choose from including one that specializes in Mexican and another specializing in Italian. Of course, we don't want to forget about the ice cream shops or pizza parlors.
