The Arlington Fire Department proudly serves the City of Arlington, population of approximately 17,280. We are committed to the saving of lives and preservation of property through efficient and effective operations, prevention activities, public education, and the preparation and management of disasters.
The Department consists of: Fire Chief Bruce A. Stedman, Deputy Chief Tom Cooper, Medical Services Administrator Doug Schmidt,
27 career personnel including 6 Captains and 10 paramedics, and 26 active part-paid volunteers. Our Department also utilizes personnel from Silvana Fire District 19.
In 2010, we responded to over 3,500 incidents consisting of responses to fire, emergency medical services including ambulance transports and motor vehicle collisions, fire prevention and inspections, emergency management, and hazardous materials responses.
The Administrative Office is located at 6231 188th Street NE and is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
