My wife and I had dinner there last night and were very impressed. The prices were reasonable. The waitress was personable and prompt. The owners were friendly. The chef was WONDERFUL. I had a tilapia filet with grilled shrimp and lobster sauce and my wife had blackened catfish. Both were as good as we had had in a long time. My Caesar salad was terrific. Her tomato basil soup was just okay. The vegetable casserole side dish was a treat. The house merlot was excellent also. I just can't say enough about the experience. This restaurant should be #1 on your list in Hendersonville.

This is a first-rate restaurant in food and service with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We were seated promptly and found the waiter to be friendly, and knowledgeable. My tomato basil soup was the best I've ever had and my husband's salad was crisp and fresh with a delightful dressing on the side as requested. Bread and two kinds of whipped butter appeared without asking. My order of chicken and dumplings was perfect - a blend of beautifully cooked vegetables, white meat chicken and fabulous dumplings simmering in a delicious white sauce. My husband's salmon was accompanied by a squash casserole and a side of spaghetti. In addition to the waiter, both Mr. and Mrs. G came to our table separately to make sure our dinner was pleasing to us. Considering the quality of the meal, I was quite amazed at the humbleness of Mrs. G. Deservedly so, Mr. G is so proud of Mrs. G and their wonderful restaurant. The next time I am in Hendersonville, I will be heading back to Mrs. G and Me for dinner.

Have been to Hendersonville many times and had yet to eat here. I was antique shopping with some girlfriends and after a look at the menu, we decided to stop. And, we are so very glad we did. The interior is cool and elegant. We were seated immediately and our server arrived timely. He did ask if we were in a hurry as a table of 9 had just placed an order and our food order would probably be a little delayed because of that. I really appreciated his sharing that. We were not in a hurry and enjoyed a glass of wine (excellent) while we waited. I had the quiche, one friend had the flounder and the other friend had the cashew chicken salad which looked too pretty to eat but she did anyway with great relish! All the food was excellent and we all agreed we would return when we were next in Hendersonville. This is a competitive dining town as it is a tourist destination and this restaurant certainly did not disappoint.
