Why Use a “Test Only” Station?

As a test only smog station, our only job is to determine if a car passes or fails its required biennial test.  We aren’t motivated by selling additional services.  It either passes, or it doesn’t.

If your car fails its test, we have a list of repair stations prominently displayed on our wall.  We don’t direct you to any “favored” repair facility.

Some tips from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair website

The following tips will help you save gas, keep California's air clean and help your vehicle pass its Smog Check. See your vehicle's owner manual for information on how often to service your vehicle.

• Change engine oil-and change air, oil and fuel filters-at the manufacturer's suggested intervals.
• Perform all other service and maintenance at manufacturer's suggested intervals.
• Check tire pressure frequently.
• Check tire condition for abnormal wear patterns.
• Inspect hoses, wiring and belts regularly.
• Service engine promptly when warning lights appear.
• Never modify your vehicle's emission control system.
