With a BS degree and a minor in art, Heather has always been a talented, creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit. Most of her professional experience has been in a corporate setting in the areas of graphic design, marketing, project management, digital archiving and website administration.
In 2003 she completed a fast-track entrepreneurial program at the Hartford College for Women. In 2005 she was gifted her first point & shoot camera, and by 2007 she moved into DSLR equipment. Shortly thereafter she began studying under a 35-year commercial photographer until turning pro in 2009.
She still has two strong mentors she consults with and the work is constantly her 'classroom' for learning and growth. This is what keeps the medium so engaging as a new career.
Having been a small business owner in the late 90s, owning a hand painted greeting card company, her experience and perspective provides an intimate understanding to small business owners when discussing their website branding needs. Her work with spaces (interiors and exteriors) can take her anywhere in the state or the world, depending on the project and location.
