As a sixth-generation native of Frederick County, I feel a deep pride and responsibility to preserve and share the unique charm of the area.  From the architecture and landscape to the people that make up this wonderful community, it is my pleasure to visually record the beauty, artistry and special moments of our lifetime.

I started Ellen Baker Creative Services several years ago offering photography and design services to businesses, community organizations and individuals.  Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful people incorporating their vision with my ideas to create logos, brochures, menus and websites; as well as collaborating with others in the art community to expand the network of available resources. 

My diverse interests in people, history, travel, nature and sports are the foundation of my photography.  Each time I head out with my camera, my goal is to capture the images that tell the story — whether that is the story of a couple on their wedding day, the fleeting beauty of a flower in bloom, a young athlete scoring a goal or sliding into home plate, or a construction project taking shape. I have been fortunate to have had my work published by McGraw-Hill Publishing and am proud to be a contributing photographer for Smart Company and Hagerstown Magazines.
