Stumptown Art Studio was established 1995 in Whitefish, Montana as a non-profit community art center.  Today we continue our commitment to bringing art and creative outlets to the community we serve.

As a community art center we welcome people of all ages from professional artists, to backyard artists and anyone seeking an artistic adventure. Locals and visitors alike can enjoy all that Stumptown Art Studio provides from art lessons in our own classrooms  to the Ceramics Annex at the Studio offering "walk-in" glass fusing, ceramic painting and mosaic making everyday of the week.  

Stumptown Art Studio also offers the following activities:

• adult workshops
• summer art camps for kids
• instructional art classes
• after school art clubs (for kids & adults)
• gallery exhibits and more.

The Studio also features an artists' co-op and clay room, providing potter's wheels, slab-roller, and a kiln.  Be sure to stop in and check out some of the wonderful local representations we have for sale and public viewing.

As part of our commitment to being involved in our community, Stumptown Art Studio participates in local community events, offering hands on art activities at weekend festivals & fundraisers.  Part of our mission is to provide services and programs that supplement area art programs that are currently lacking in many public and private schools throughout the area.  Stumptown Art Studio makes art accessible for everyone and anyone, local residents and tourists alike, enriching the community and beyond.
