The Opportunity The Tax Specialist will be responsible for all semi-weekly, monthly and quarterly tax filing and depositing, quarter end organization, and logging tax notices. The ideal candidate is someone who is well organized, detail orientated and possess a customer friendly attitude. Daily Responsibilities: Create tax liability due list from master client list accurately Maintain semi-weekly, monthly and quarterly tax filing spreadsheets, tax audit reports and tax returns Transmit taxes prior to settlement date Proofreads tax returns for accuracy Files tax returns to appropriate tax authority Input SUTA rates into the system Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with personnel and management Assists management with special projects as needed Research, track and resolve (or properly refer) tax issues Qualifications 0-1 years of accounting or payroll related experience Knowledge of tax laws is a plus Ability to research complex issues Cooperative and willing to work with others Able to use basic office equipment http://bull.hn/l/GUD1/3"
