La Cave

Enjoying an impeccable reputation for fine food and cocktails in a cozy underground setting, La Cave remains a romantic hideaway or the perfect restaurant to enjoy special occasions with friends and family.  You have to try this place at least once.  It's a low light cavern that's built underground under the Blockbuster at the corner of 17th & Irvine Ave.  Our passion is reflected in our legendary steaks and extends beyond steaks to lobster and fish, that are fresh, never frozen.  Try our twice baked potatoes and our amazing garlic bread that comes with every meal.

La Cave offers a wonderful place to dine and socialize. Dark woods, stacked stone arches, walls, intimate booths, tables, impeccable service, breath taking ambiance, our restaurant delivers a classic, warm, rich steakhouse feel.

Our resturant venue also specializes in jazz with occasional tribute, rock and karaoke acts.  To many generations of locals and long-time patrons, we are a throwback to what jazz clubs used to be like before the politeness of the modern jazz restaurants got in the way of musicians' fun.  We try to keep traditional jazz hours here, with the band starting at around 10 p.m. and going past midnight.  Admittedly, La Cave can get a little noisy late evenings – the back space often fills up, and as many people are there to talk as to listen.
