The Second Street Bistro opened its doors in the Historic Murray Hotel in the heart of downtown Livingston in the spring of 2004. The Second Street Bistro is rooted simply in the belief that great food and wine makes life more enjoyable and we enjoy having the opportunity to offer awesome food and wonderful wines at great prices. The Second Street Bistro combines the techniques of classic French cooking with locally sourced Montana lamb, pork, beef, chicken and produce. We offer a wide selection of wonderful appetizers, eclectic salads, pizzas, great steaks, chops and amazing desserts.

The Second Street Bistro handcrafts innovative cocktails and has one of the largest wine lists in the region with all bottles hand selected by a certified sommelier. The Second Street Bistro has been annually recognized since we opened our doors as having the “Best Fine Dining”, “Best Service”, “Best Wine List”, “Best Martini” and “Best Chef” in Livingston. We are a humble and lively establishment that has been nationally recognized by none other than Gourmet magazine, Food & Wine, Anthony Bourdain and the esteemed New York Times.

Above all else, we are committed to supporting the local economy and sustainable products. Our number one goal is to support our unique community of independent farmers, ranchers, artists, and professionals. If we can buy it locally, we will.
