My name is Victor Brawner. I have been married to my wife, Jenise, since January 1st, 1994. She was my best friend and my prom date in the 11th grade, which for me was 1992. We have 4 beautiful children, Billy, Steven, Peyton, and Devin.
I believe that your health club should accept the responsibility for its member’s hopes and dreams. I do not believe that our responsibility ends with keeping the AC on and the club somewhat clean. I believe you have entrusted us with your most prized possession; your self esteem, your ego, and your self-worth. Please understand, I do not take this lightly and will allow you to hold me accountable to do everything I can to offer you the tools to see your dreams of looking in the mirror and saying
“Oh yeah, I am HOT”!!!
I will get you to your goal with the full understanding that it will be difficult but not impossible.
I also promise that this will be hard but it will also be worth it.

I am not here to be your friend.
For most of you, your friends are the ones who will tell you:
“It’s ok to have just one.”
“Come on, live a little.”
“You look a little too thin.”
“I think you’re losing too much weight.”
“Are you allowed to enjoy anything anymore?”
“You’re really not as much fun since you quit going out drinking with
us and partying on the weekends.”
“Let’s not go to the seminar, Margaritas are only .99 tonight.”
“I don’t care what your trainer says, you should never commit to
something like that.”
“It sounds to me like this whole sugar thing is just stupid and
unreasonable.”
“What about your kids? Are you not allowed to let your kids enjoy
their childhood?”
Every statement above is a real statement that has been said to some of our bootcamp students and they have passed on to me.
I am not here to be your friend.
I am here to be the person who whispers in your ear “You can do 2 more, trust me.” I am here to take you from doing 13 pushups to doing 73 in one month’s time ( yes , boot campers have accomplished this). I am here to let you know you can do things you never thought possible. I am here to be the little voice you hear in your head when you are tempted to cheat, say to you “Don’t do it, you are doing so good. Don’t blow it.” I am here to be the little voice you here in your head tell you to get out of your warm bed and join the group to run the butte even though it is snowing. I am here to teach to obtain your true achievement and potential. I am here to teach you to stand up to your unsupportive husband and make him eat his cookies in his car because you “will not allow that “CRACK” in this house anymore.” I am here to encourage you when you get frustrated about doing the right thing. I am here to tell you milk is still sugar-water when you attempt to justify it. I am here to talk you out of doing the bad things in your life that you know in your heart are wrong. I am here to tell you that I know it is difficult- It is NOT impossible.
I am not here to be your friend. I will motivate you, I will push you, I will encourage you, I will make you swear at me, I will make you angry with me, I will make you frustrated, I will make you better. If after all that, when you have accomplished your task at hand and you are truly happy with the way you look and feel, if after all that you want to be friends, so be it; but not now. For now we have a job to do and I will see you next class.
Remember, it is difficult-not impossible.

GUEST POLICY
Upon enrollment each member receives a preferred guest list for up to and no more than 10 one day memberships for friends and family. In addition, one day passes are available for guests for $10 per day. If a guest decides to join within 14 days the guest pass fee will be applied to their Membership enrollment fee. Guests must present a valid drivers license and allow time for a tour of the facility. Please see the front desk for details.

To ensure the best atmosphere and workout for all of our members, we offer the following ETIQUETTE guidelines:
* Please be courteous to others
* Lockers are for day use only
* Please return weights to the racks
* Please do not drop weights at all
* For safety, children under 12 are not on the weight room floor at all
* Please wipe off equipment when use permitted
* Please do not make excessive noise

"We get several requests for free guest passes for multiple day visits for people to “try it out.” When someone comes in and sees everything we have to offer in the way of education, equipment, service, and results; but still wants to “try it out” I often ask them ”WHY?!” The response I typically get it is “I want to make sure I like it.”
Let me make this perfectly clear; “You won’t like it one bit!!”
How do I know you won’t like it?
Because I have been doing this now for 15 years and I DON’T LIKE IT!!
Asking for a two week or one month free pass is like 2 frogs sitting on a log. One frog decides to jump off. How many frogs are left on the log? The answer is 2! That’s right 2! Remember, the frog only “decided” to jump off the log. It didn’t actually commit or take action. We “decide” to do things every day, yet very rarely take the necessary action to accomplish what it is we decided to do. Deciding to do something is not effective until you actually take that first step forward and commit, then take action. You can decide that you are going to eat healthier and make better food choices. It usually lasts until your friend or family member shoves some dessert in your face. But hey; you “decided” to eat better, right?
It does not matter until you commit.
I have been doing this business for 15 years now and have worked in clubs that gave away anywhere from 7 to 30 day guest passes. Here is what I know to be true based on my own experience. Only about 20% of people that get a “free” pass actually join the gym when the pass expires. I know this because for years I have been very diligent in doing follow up with people on a guest pass hoping to be able to enroll them. I also know that they typically do not join any gym at all, again because of the follow up. The reason for this is people will take the guest pass but they have not committed to anything. As a result of the lack of commitment, they don’t use it because “they don’t have to.” They don’t have to because they are not committed to. Then, they use the fact that they didn’t use it, to justify why they shouldn’t join. You can argue with me all you want but I promise you I have way more experience selling gym memberships than anyone has buying them. I have heard every excuse under the sun why people won’t join.
Regardless of the excuse, the result is always the same; NO CHANGE.
The person continues to be unhealthy and unhappy with the way they look and feel, but they will have a sense of accomplishment because they “checked it out.”
Why would you possibly need to use the gym 7,14, or 30 times to decide if you like it? How many times do you test drive a car before you know if you want it? Our goal is not to be “high pressure” salesman. Our goal is to put enough “internal” pressure on you to stop fiddling around and make the decision you know in your heart is the right one to make. If you still feel like you need more time to “think about it” you may purchase a day pass for $10 a day. If you decide to join within 14 days we will apply the amount you paid on your day pass to your enrollment fee.
Quite frankly, it is time to stop “thinking about it” and get the momentum going. We have a whole country that has “decided” to get in better shape and has progressed to “thinking about” joining a gym. Meanwhile, all we have to show for it is a population where 73% of us are overweight or obese, and that number keeps getting worse. We have fooled around long enough. Get to a gym, get in gear, and let’s get the job done!!
Yes, we are here to help
We believe a gym should be obligated to do more than put “stuff” in a building. We believe our moral obligation is to help each member as much as we can. This brochure will explain the programs that we have to offer. We are very committed to doing everything we can to help. We understand everyone has different needs and different budgets. When you are ready to ask us for help, do not tell us all the things you “can’t” do. Everyone has things they cannot do. What we want to know is what you “can” do. We will build on those things. If you just give us a list of all the things you can’t do, you might as well just go home and wait to die. I know a guy who is waiting to die. His name is John and he has cancer. He has a long list of things he is doing because his time is short. Tell him all the things you “can’t” do and I believe he will show you that you could do them if it was important. If there are only two things you can do, we will show you how to do your best at them. Your very best is all we ask. The rest is up to us.
The FREE Stuff
Group Equipment Orientation: (COMPLIMENTARY)
Learn to use the equipment to your best advantage while finding the safest way integrate the machines into your workouts. Equipment Orientations are held every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Classes are complimentary to all members, but please call in your registration at least two days in advance to reserve your spot. We have only 15 spaces available so It’s first come first serve. When you reserve a spot please show up.
Educational Classes: (Complimentary)
You can’t have enough great information going in. When enough great info goes in then positive things have to come out. Our educational seminars will empower you with the fitness truth. All of our seminars are complimentary However you need to register in advance. Check the calendar for upcoming classes.
Asking Victor and Matt questions (Always complimentary)
Fer cryin out loud, We want you to be successful however when you ask a question be prepared for the honest and truthful answer based upon the science of the body. Do not be upset if our answer is “Yes it is supposed to hurt, now get out there and do 10 more!”
The GOOD Stuff
Professional Assistance Consultation: ($10)-
A consultation appointment is meant to allow individuals who are currently exercising the opportunity to meet with a fitness professional to clarify specific questions they may have. Typical topics include, but are not limited to:
Getting more out of your workout
Review of current exercise programs to get suggestions on how to make them more effective
Tips on how to be more efficient with workouts
Cross training ideas Determine how to improve body composition
This consultation is a pre requisite to assess if the member qualifies for professional one on one or group training. If the consultation turns into personal training then the $10 fee will be applied towards their training fee for service.
Grocery store tours ($20)-
If you’ve been trying unsuccessfully to lose weight, this seminar might be part of the solution. What you’ll learn:

* Easy to make meals that effect the body’s ability to burn fat and hold onto muscle
* What to look for on food labels
* The “tricks” food marketers use to influence you

The REALLY GOOD Stuff

ELITE Education Online
Our online training system will design your whole workout to include nutrition and meal planning. It will tell you which exercises to do, how many sets to do, how many reps to, how much weight to do, even how much time you should you should be resting in between sets. It prints out a workout log that you can bring to the gym and fill in the information on. When you are done you go back to your program and tell the computer what you did for your workout. Based on the feedback you give it, the program will modify your workout. It literally “learns” you in a matter of a couple of workouts. It will tell you how many calories a day you should eat as well as protein, carbs, and fat. It will track your daily calories for you and let you know if you are on track with your program. The best part of the program is the accountability. If you do not log in for a week it will send you an email asking you if you are ok. If you do not log in for two weeks it sends me an email letting me know you are at risk for dropping out and need to be contacted right away. The program gives you every benefit of a personal trainer without the large price. If you are looking for free and easy, our programs are not for you. We will look to make sure you are committed and put forth the real work to achieve the desired results.
* Anyone who either always complains about their weight and or their physical fitness, but will never do anything about being overweight or unhealthy. These are the ones who are first to quit or first to be skeptical.
* Anyone who is not humble enough to admit they need assistance even though they fail to achieve their goals time and time again.
* Anyone looking for the first reason to either quit or talk themselves out of doing this program at all with phrases like: “ the times aren’t convenient”
