Established in 1971, Brothers Redevelopment provides housing and housing-related services to the region's low-income, elderly and uninsured.

Our programs include:

Affordable Housing: Brothers Redevelopment provides a variety of affordable housing options for low-income, senior and disabled residents at nearly a dozen Denver-area properties. Our federally subsidized independent living complexe...s offer a safe, affordable and comfortable setting for individuals of all backgrounds.

Home Maintenance & Repair: Through its Home Maintenance and Repair Progrm, Brothers Redevelopment completes repairs and improvements to the homes of low-income, disabled and elderly homeowners along the Front Range.  Primarily, we coordinate repairs that improve in-home safety and mobility for clients--from the construction of wheelchair ramps to the installation of accessible showers. Thanks to our many partnerships with local municipalities, we can also help clients address heating and plumbing issues.

Housing Counseling: Approved by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, as a comprehensive housing counseling agency, Brothers Redevelopment works to promote, preserve and protect homeownership.
Our services include Default Mortgage Counseling for homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgages; Reverse Mortgage Counseling for seniors who wish to access the equity in their home while continuing to live there; and First-Time Homebuyer Counseling and workshops to explain the home buying process from start-to-finish.

Colorado Foreclosure Hotline (1-877-601-4673): Brothers Redevelopment also manages the Colorado Foreclosure Hotline, a statewide network of cousneling agencies that conects callers with a housing counselor who can provide basic information to the homeowner and serve as a liaison between the borrower and the mortgage company.

Annual Paint-A-Thon: Brothers Redevelopment teams with volunteers to paint the homes of seniors residing throughout the metro area. The program saves seniors thousands in home maintenance costs and preserves property values.

Neighborhood Caretakers: Brothers Redevelopment teams with volunteers and local communities to make wide-scale repairs on homes in challenged, low-income neighborhoods.
