The Johns Creek Arts Center has a distinguished faculty supporting a wide range of instruction and has earned a reputation for its outstanding arts education programming.
JCAC offers extensive youth and adult art classes and workshops including oil, acrylic & watercolor painting, drawing, pastel, photography, ceramics, jewelry making, mosaics, guitar, portrait & figure classes, sculpture, mixed media and theater arts.
Classes are offered in eight week sessions for beginners wanting to learn a new skill and advanced classes for accomplished artists.
In addition to special exhibits and galas, the art center is host to annual events such as the Chili Bowls Event, The Arts on the Creek Art Exhibition, and the Spring & Fall Student Shows, and Holiday Sale. The Public is always welcome and encouraged to attend these events and shows. JC Arts Center enjoys public participation and encourages membership and volunteer involvement.
The JC Arts Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire artistic development by providing quality art education and outreach programs. JCAC serves the local community by providing art workshops at schools, libraries, assisted living institutions, and provides badge workshops for Girl and Boy Scouts. They also provide after-school enrichment programs for local schools.
The Johns Creek Arts Center is known for its high quality Summer Camp program which offers Visual Arts, Clay, Jewelry, Boys Art, Teen Art, Cartooning, Theatre Arts and I-Camp Technology Camps throughout the summer.
Our mission is to inspire artistic development for youth and adults by embracing community and corporate relationships that stimulate creative growth and opportunity.
Our vision is to provide affordable quality cultural arts education to the residents in the vicinity of North Fulton County including, but not exclusive to, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Roswell, Duluth, and Suwanee.
Major funding is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council.
